We have sought out the most precious soils to achieve the power and character of our wines signed Oratorio. Each wine has been aged meticulously in demi-muids (600 liters oak barrels) to reveal smooth and elegant tannins with subtle aromas of vanilla, sweet spices, cocoa and moka. To assure this level of Excellence, we select only the best vintages. As our first priority is the highest possible quality the availability of the Oratorio wines is limited.


Destemming - crushing - cold pre-fermentation maceration at 12°C. during 4 days - maceration and vatting of 25 days for the grenache and of 35 days on Syrah and Mourvèdre - 2 rackings during the fermentation and light pumping over - punching down the cap during the maceration.


12 months in demi-muids of 600 litres (oak aged of 1 to 3 wines)

Tasting Notes

Eye: Deep ruby with freshness marked by its dark purple reflections

Nose: Very intense and powerful, an instant expression of this great terroir; the complexity is puzzling; at first crystallized black fruits then notes of soft spices vanilla milk chocolate, spices on a balsamic base and meaty.

Palate: Remarkable scale, harmoniously marrying the aromatic power, sweetness, silky tannins and the remarkable freshness; all concluded by a magnificent length on black licorice fruits.

Food Pairings

Accompanied by beef tenderloin, truffles, rossini tournedos or to be aged 15 years and then served with a provencale or wild boar stew.
