Domaine le Pive Gris is a light, fresh wine with delicate aromas. This deliciously fresh wine is ideal for sharing with friends around a table on the terrace, family picnics and barbecues. A summer wine par excellence, but perfect with seafood whatever the time of year – after all, it is the sea which lends it its unique character.
Night harvesting to preserve the aromatic freshness. Direct pressing. A 5-day contact with lees from the must to extract intense aromas and a fleshy character. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15-18°C.
Eye: Pale pink.
Nose: Intense with fresh aromas of strawberry and citrus fruit and sweet notes of fruit drops.
Palate: Well balanced with a fresh and acidulous finish.
To be enjoyed at 10°C for aperitif or with all sorts of dishes: mixed summer salads, sushi or Comté cheese. To be drunk now or within 2 years in order to enjoy the freshness of the fruit.
