Côtes Catalanes IGP

Made from grapes from vines that belonged to Field Marshal Joffre, war hero and native of the Catalan region, the classic "Canon du Marechal" range – available in red, rose and white – are fruity, smooth and crisp wines that can be easily enjoyed throughout almost any meal. Wines made with organic and biodynamic grown grapes - Certification Ecocert.


Vinification

Machine picked during the night. Skin maceration of 24 hours at low temperature before pressing. After racking, the alcoholic fermentation is temperature controlled at 18°C.


Maturation

This wine is bottled within 6 months of the harvest, and stored in air-conditioned cellars.


Tasting Notes

Eye: Golden yellow.

Nose: The nose is very aromatic, a bouquet oh white flowers with grapefruit notes.

Palate: On the palate, this dry wine reveal a great balance as well as a nice and refreshing acidity. The final reveals pear and white peach notes.


Food Pairings

Best drunk within 2 years at 12°C. Appetizers, asparagus, salads with citrus, fish and sea food in sauce.
